DJ Vespers has announced the release of Deep Sub Bass, a free instrument rack for Ableton Live which was designed for generating deep bass sounds while offering handy controls for modulating the output signal.
The Deep Sub Bass rack uses a collection of analogue sine wave multi-samples for generating the bass sound within the Sampler instrument. These basic sine waves can then be processed using built-in effects to further shape the sub bass sound on the output.
Deep Sub Bass comes with a set of eight macro knobs which control the most important characteristics of the instrument. You can use the macro controls to add saturation and stereo width in the higher end of the frequency spectrum, as well as to keep all the frequencies in mono under a set threshold frequency. The rack also includes a built-in compressor with an adjustable sidechain. Finally, the slide control is used for adjusting the amount of portamento between notes.
In order to download the instrument, you’ll need to sign up for a free user account at the Warp Academywebsite linked below. The registration process is completely free and all you need to do is to enter your email address and choose a password. Email verification is not required.
