Hex Loops has released FREE FL Studio Trap FLP, a free collection of audio loops, one shot samples and MIDI sequences packed inside a trap beat project file prepared for use in FL Studio.

“FREE FL Studio Trap FLP is a FREEWARE FL Studio Trap template that contains all the MIDI files, FLP file, presets, soundfonts, channel settings, WAV loops and drum one shots included. Is a great chance for any music producer to learn how to make trap beats.”

The download pack contains all the essential parts of a trap mix, from drum loops and one shots to synthesizer presets and even a couple of SoundFonts in SF2 format. All of this stuff is packed inside a single FL Studio project, which can be opened on your computer by loading the provided FLP project file. The project file is fully mixed and ready for playback or remixing.

I don’t use FL Studio so I can’t really put this one to test, however I’m sure that something like this would be useful for producers who are still making their first beatmaking steps and who are eager to find out what’s hidden behind a finished trap mix. You can preview the project file by playing the SoundClouddemo which is embedded below, if you’d like to hear what it’s all about before downloading the actual archive.

We’ve seen quite a few similar releases recently for other DAWs, such as the Myloops Miracles Volume 1mix template by Myloops or the 808 Grooves pack for Ableton Live. Oh and if you’d like to further improve your mixing skills by watching online lessons, you can still grab 30 days of free access toGroove3 video tutorials via Propellerhead Software.

Btw, you can always grab a free demo copy of FL Studio at the Image Line website. As far as I remember, the demo version is fully functional except for the fact that it can’t load FLP files, which is quite a bummer in this case.
