Native Instruments have launched the latest version of Traktor DJ, which is now the world’s most popular DJ app. Suitable for iPhone and iPad, Traktor 1.4 sees a hose of new effects such as Iceverb, Transpose Stretch, and Reverse Grain. Native have also polished up the user interface, making it easier to search for and manage tracks mid mix.

The biggest news of all is the apps new Mixcloud integration. Allowing DJs to record their mix and then upload it to their Mixcloud profile directly from within the app – the latest version of Traktor will make sharing your blends even easier.

In celebration, Native Instruments offers DJs the chance to share their sound for a paid weekend getaway in Ibiza. Until May 31, 2014, mixes recorded and uploaded to Mixcloud using TRAKTOR DJ will be automatically be entered in the contest. Acid house legend A Guy Called Gerald will pick the winner.

Traktor DJ 1.4 is now available for download in the App Store for £6.99 (iPad) and £1.99 (iPhone) and current users can update their version for free.
